Registrations already received from over 1,500 interior decorators

Balloon-trip winners drawn

The Heimtextil Insider programme, which will be launched at the International Trade Fair for Home and Contract Textiles in Frankfurt am Main from 13 to 16 January 2010, is aimed specifically at German interior decorators. They have been able to register for the programme at a special website at www.heimtextil-insider.com since September. “The concept of Heimtextil Insider has been very well received by the target group and over 1,500 interior decorators have already signed up for the programme”, says a delighted Ulrike Wechsung, Heimtextil Director of Messe Frankfurt. “Interior decorators who have not yet registered can do so online until 5 January 2010”, adds Wechsung.

Interior decorators who have registered for the Heimtextil Insider programme will enjoy numerous privileges during the fair including access to the Insider Lounge with free refreshments, a Welcome Package with personal membership card and a book of vouchers, free admission to the fair, the daily Insider News, personal advice and exclusive guided tours of the Heimtextil Trend Show in the Forum.

Balloon-trip winners drawn
All Heimtextil Insiders registering by 30 November had the chance to win one of three hot-air balloon trips. To qualify for the draw, registered interior decorators had to answer the following question: on what day of the week does the Heimtextil traditionally begin?

The answer is Wednesday. The three winners were drawn at the beginning of December and can now look forward to a trip in a hot-air balloon. They are: Petra Kreiling from Heuchelheim, Franz Langer from Frankfurt and Susanne Mulak from Darmstadt.

Further information about the winners and the latest news from the sector, as well as tips and trends relating to the international trade fair, are available on the Heimtextil Insider website. The extensive complementary programme accompanying the fair, details of which can also be found on the website, also covers subjects of interest to interior decorators, e.g., the Contract Day in Hall 8.0, which will spotlight flat linen in the contract business on the Friday of the fair, and the Young Contract Creations Award: Upholstery and Wall awards for young people, as well as interesting discussion events on the subject of ‘3-D Ornaments’ and materials workshops on ‘Organic Innovations’ and ‘Smart Textiles’.
