Turning Point Integration Focuses New Sales Consultant On Agency Sector

Turning Point Integration is reacting positively to predicted upturns in the market with the employment of new Pre Sales Consultant, Daren Jobson. Daren comes to TPI with 12 years agency experience working at Wwav Rapp Collins as Studio Manager and plans to put his background to best use in ensuring communication with TPI’s clients is second-to-none.

Sales Director Steve Emerson says: “We needed someone with agency experience who could empathise with our clients and talk their language. Daren clearly has that and also has the drive and passion to want to succeed, we’re enjoying working with him and are keen to see how things develop.”

Daren’s role as Pre Sales Consultant will see him initially visiting existing clients to learn more about them, how they use TPI’s Xinet and Dalim solutions, and consulting with clients to understand what developments would be most beneficial to their business. Daren says: “It’s very early days for me here but already I’m enjoying getting out and meeting people, talking honestly about their business and appraising potential areas that could be improved using our solutions.”

Steve sums up why he’s brought Daren into TPI: “Daren’s a people person, he’s a pleasure to be around; even the most cursory glance at his LinkedIn profile clearly demonstrates how well thought of, respected and genuinely liked he is, qualities that TPI is keen to share with our clients.”

A family man with 5 children, Daren enjoys close familial links with the Shrimpers at Roots Hall (aka Southend United), he’s also a keen player of 5-a-side. However, in 2007 his beloved game almost became a matter of life and death for Daren when commuting from his Essex home.

Locally renowned for causing the biggest tailback on the A13 in years, back then Daren’s vehicle of choice was a Suzuki GSXR750. As he travelled along a stray football drifted onto the middle lane causing traffic to brake and swerve, resulting in Daren sliding off his bike and into the back of a car, turning in time to see a juggernaut bearing down on him. Daren’s last memory before he passed out was of the truck stopping only 2 metres in front of him, crushing the football as it screamed to a halt. Needless to say, he takes the train these days!
