3D Technologies R&D made 3DMLW open source which means that the source code of the software is made available under a GPL license. This permits 3DMLW users to use, change and improve the software. 3D Technologies R&D believes that opening 3DMLW engine source-code would make it more reliable to the clients and add benefits to the developers. 3D Technologies R&D has released an alpha version of the 3DMLW editor.
