History was created in Bracknell Forest on Sunday, 12th March 2023. The Mayor of Bracknell Forest, Cllr Ankur Shiv Bhandari's Civic service at St Michael and St Mary Magdalene church in Easthampstead, Bracknell was the first-of-its-kind, historic dual-faith Christian-Hindu service in the Borough.
Both Christian and Hindu faiths joined in prayers and hymns as part of the service. Hindu music was played on the Tabla, flute and wind-chimes.
