Weingartz’s 4th Annual Mow Down Hunger Campaign
Weingartz, Michigan’s family owned and locally operated provider of outdoor power equipment since 1945, commits for the fourth consecutive year to help Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan (Gleaners) feed hungry children in Michigan through the Mow Down Hunger campaign. Weingartz wants to raise 1 million meals between September 7 – October 7, 2013, and will match all donations to reach that goal.

On Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11:00am, Charter One Foundation and Gleaners Community Food Bank will hand out food donations and backpacks filled with school supplies to families in need. The one-day packing event is the culmination of Charter One Foundation's Gear for Grades school supply collection.
