PCIS Adds Cenzic to Security Partnership
Vancouver-based IT consulting firm PCIS continues to build on core partnerships with leading security vendors to better service the security demands of its customer base. Today, PCIS announced a new partnership with Cenzic, complementing its Boonbox Devfense security offering by becoming a reseller of Cenzic Hailstorm Web Application software. This announcement follows closely on the heels of PCIS' announcement earlier this month of becoming a reseller of Imperva’s SecureSphere Web Application Firewall (WAF).“We are impressed by the full coverage that a Cenzic solution is able to offer throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle," says PCIS President Vaclav Vincalek. "Effective and accurate scanning capability is an extremely important for customers looking to protect against intrusion, data breach, and loss of corporate records. Cenzic is a key component of our holistic approach to enabling our customers to protect their business and keep their web visitors and customers secure."
Increasingly, companies are implementing better security to try to avoid data breaches, Vincalek noted. "Our own research on vulnerable or infected websites reveals that a significant percentage of website are still getting compromised at a rapid rate. Devfense Cyber Alert publishes our findings every 10 minutes. Just like any business needs to protect against burglars and scam artists that come into your store, organizations now need to have guards up against application attacks such as SQL injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and brute force attacks. Our Boonbox Devfense security customers want to prevent ID theft incidents and data breaches, and these partnerships with Cenzic and Imperva allow us to offer a full suite of security options.
