Emma Gordon, Managing Director of Eyecandy Interior Design realised that interior design for some people was an unachievable dream, so designer Emma and her team decided to introduce an element to the business where interior design could potentially be affordable to all.
The ‘Inspiration Hour’ is a private one-on-one booking for Eyecandy Interior Design to visit the home of a potential client, and offer inspirational ideas at a fraction of the cost usually associated with an interior designer. The ‘Inspiration Hour’ offers a taster of what having an Eyecandy Interior Designer can provide to the homeowner.
Emma Gordon, Managing Director of Eyecandy Interior Design said; “The fee for an interior designer to visit a home for a consultation ranges from designer to designer, but usually starts at around £150 and goes upwards to £500. Our proposition at Eyecandy is simple, a £50 fee covers our taster Inspiration Hour; we visit the home of the client, take measurements, and have an informal chat about ideas. It’s a great opportunity for people to take the first step into using an interior designer for their home.
We then invite the client to move forward with a full consultation which includes a more in-depth discussion about specifics, where we provide mood board ideas, showcase new swatches, and introduce new design ideas. This service incurs the consultation fee of £300 plus VAT per room”.
Eyecandy Interior Design has been successfully designing interiors for homeowners across the North of England for 15 years, and the introduction of the Inspiration Hour is one that works well with both existing clients and potential clients.
Eyecandy Interior Design is a bespoke interiors who strive to offer inspirational ideas and a friendly service whilst focusing on the client's brief, working closely with the client to bring about their vision.
