Mount Inspiration Apparel is pleased to announce that founder Evans Prater has been selected by the Asheville Chamber of Commerce to record hikes on a number of trails in the Asheville area for inclusion in Google Earth (See Google’s blog post The hikes are included in a Google Earth layer to document the trails.
Prater commented: “I’m so excited to bring the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Asheville vicinity to the world. I get to enjoy this area all the time, and it’s a thrill to share it.”

Evans Prater is founder of Mount Inspiration Apparel LLC (, which is headquartered in Asheville, N.C. Evans began his journey to create casual clothing that inspire the outdoor enthusiast after completing a through-hike of the Appalachian Trail. Evans is committed to using garments made of sustainable materials as part of his mission.
