Atlona Technologies announces the release of new 8x4 Composite/S-Video Matrix Switch with Stereo Audio, the AT-SAV-84M

Atlona Technologies, solutions based manufacturer of Audio Video products, has been aggressively expanding their matrix switcher line to accommodate older analog devices, such as composite security cameras. Analog video routing has never been easier with the newest such product, the AT-SAV-84M. This unit is an 8x4 Composite/S-Video Matrix Switch with Stereo audio. Atlona has quickly become a staple in the video accessory market due to their vast line of solutions. While many manufacturers look past Composite, calling it a legacy format, Atlona is going after the estimated 20 million US customers who reported that they are still using Composite or S-Video as their main video connection type, according to a CEA research report.

Sporting 8 Composite and 8 S-video inputs going out to 4 Composite and 4 S-Video, the AT-SAV-84M offers professional quality Composite/S-Video with Stereo Audio switching at a price point lower than most competitors in the Audio Video market. Because it is a matrix switch, any of the eight Composite and S-Video inputs can be routed to any of the four Composite/S-Video outputs independently; or the same input can be routed to all outputs simultaneously, or any other combination. The AT-SAV-84M features both manual or Infrared Remote, and is compatible with every major third party control system such as AMX, Crestron, RTI, and Control 4. With quick and easy installation, this unit is perfect for any application using Composite and S-Video devices such as security systems and standard definition home theater installations.

Atlona’s AT-SAV-84M will be released early October with an MSRP of $699.00 and is currently available for pre-order. Also soon to be released is the 4x2 version of this Composite/S-Video Matrix Switch, the AT-SAV-42M.
