Six Disciplines Leadership Center of Central West Florida Announces Partnership with St. Petersburg College Corporate Training

Local Firms Collaborate to Offer Clients Lasting Business Improvement

Tampa, FL, — June 29, 2006 — Six Disciplines Leadership Center of Central West Florida and St. Petersburg College announced today they have formed a strategic partnership to bring companies in the Bay area a very unique opportunity to promote learning and improve performance in their organizations. The partnership is being formally announced today at a co-sponsored event at the new St. Petersburg College EpiCenter, where Six Disciplines Corporation CEO and Founder, Gary Harpst, will be addressing an audience of approximately 125 local business leaders.



"A key element of the Six Disciplines methodology is effective organizational learning and individual development. This is a need that SPC Corporate Training supports,” said Sean Burke, President of the Six Disciplines Leadership Center of Central West Florida. “This partnership is a great fit because their mission is directly in line with that of Six Disciplines – to help the best small businesses achieve lasting excellence."



St. Petersburg College Corporate Training offers a wide range of technology, professional development, and regulated industries classes designed to keep employees up-to-date, informed and knowledgeable about technology and trends in the business world. A variety of Six Disciplines Business-Building Workshops will be added to the St. Petersburg College Corporate Training educational catalog. These half-day workshop topics include: Building a Culture of Accountability, Finding and Keeping the Right People, Conducting Effective Strategic Planning, and Uncovering Growth Opportunities. These workshops will be available to the business community beginning in August of 2006.

SPC Corporate Training will also be adopting the Six Disciplines™ Methodology and technology to systematically grow and manage the Corporate Training Department, thereby maintaining its commitment to lasting business excellence.
