Movavi introduces Video Converter 8.2 – faster and more flexible than ever
MOSCOW, Russia, September 2, 2009. – Movavi, a leading developer of multimedia processing software, today released the latest version of their flagship product - Movavi Video Converter 8.2.
This latest version brings improvements in both functionality and usability: a significantly-expanded list of supported formats and codecs, improved DVD reading and conversion speeds, and a much-reduced footprint, ensuing all video processing is faster and more efficient.
Among the program’s improved capabilities are:
• Conversion to and from 137 new media formats and 107 codecs — including M2T and FLV(H.264) — thanks to the new conversion algorithm;
• High-speed DVD conversion (3x faster), thanks to multi-core processor support;
• Improved MP3 batch conversion on multi-core platforms;
• Conversion of AVI files with MP3/MP2 sound without the need for additional codecs;
• Reading, conversion and preservation of FLV and AVI files with codec H.264;
• Improved online video download capabilities;
• Ability to add an entire folder to the Source File list, via the File menu or drag & drop;
• Improved folder viewing capabilities – saves time by displaying only media files.
These updates are also incorporated in the latest version of Movavi Video Suite, version 7.2.
