Intetics Ranks No. 47 in Chicago Metro Region on the 2009 Inc. 500/5000 List

Intetics Co., a leading global software development and managed services company, has been named to the 2009 Inc 500/5000 list, an annual exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy – America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs.

With three-year revenue growth of 268.3% Intetics ranks 47th in the Chicago metropolitan area. This is the company’s first Inc 500 award for the corporate trophy case. The Inc 5000 is an extension of the annual Inc 500 listing many businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to make the Inc 500, as well as a host of smaller firms. Intetics is being recognized by the Inc 5000 for the second consecutive year. Intetics has moved up in the listing by more than 700 positions in comparison with 2008 Inc 5000.

The companies are judged according to percentage revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. To qualify, they have to be US-based, privately held, for profit, and independent -- not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. The top 10 percent of the companies on the list comprise the Inc 500.
