JAX Finance, on the other hand, focuses on the specific technological needs of the financial industry. Topics such as low latency, FinTech, blockchain, messaging, exchange architecture as well as core Java technologies and continuous delivery are at the heart of this conference.
In his keynote, Fredrik Hedberg, co-founder and CTO of Tink, will look into the future of personal finance. He will explore the imminent changes in retail banking sector and explain why banks need to accept and embrace it.
In his power workshop, performance engineering consultant Mark Price will take participants on a journey to build an accurate performance testing harness. This full-day course will explore the ways to validate whether your load-testing harness is producing accurate results. Attendees will develop and iterate on a load-test harness to measure the responsiveness of a simple microservice. The course is meant to teach participants how to measure and report system throughput and latency, and how to measure the system-under-test to understand where bottlenecks lie.
