Lambeth Wide Open is an open studios event which will see artists open their doors to the public this October.

Locations: Borough-wide
‘Lambeth Wide Open’ is Lambeth’s first ever annual open artists’ studio festival, featuring five groups from the borough and over two hundred artists, who will open their doors to welcome the public into their workspaces.
Lambeth is a hot bed of diverse creative activity with a rich, varied mass of talent. ‘Lambeth Wide Open’ offers the public the opportunity to meet a huge range of artists from the well-established to emerging talent. Learn more about contemporary art, and start or add to your collection by buying art directly from the artists.
‘When you buy work directly from the artist, there is no gallery commission; work can be up to 70% cheaper. “A great opportunity to start collecting and investing in art.” (Minister of Culture)
‘Lambeth Wide Open’ will provide a fantastic opportunity to discover a huge range of contemporary art practice, including painting, sculpture, animation, ceramics, design, film, glass, textiles, installation, photography, performance and much more. Meeting artists in their place of work will provide a rare insight into their working methods, processes and ideas.
The five groups involved are situated across the borough including; ASC Streatham, ASC Brixton, ASC Brixton Village, Bainbridge Gallery & Studios in West Norwood, Red Gate Gallery & Studios and Whirled Arts in Loughborough Junction.
‘Lambeth Wide Open’ is sponsored by London Borough of Lambeth.
We hope ‘Lambeth Wide Open’ will inspire you to discover more about the artists working in your community.
