Emel Michael and Emrah Kaleli, two emerging artists practicing differing styles, bring together a Mish Mash of unusual works. Though originating from different cultural backgrounds, both artists tell their tales through the medium of painting, applying within their works mixed themes of colour, pattern and portraiture.
Emel Michael: As a self taught fine artist, she finds her inspiration through colour; she sais about her practice: "I look upon a pallet of colour, I find my mood and then I'm off!" (Michael 2011)
Setting challenges, Emel endeavors to capture emotion and atmosphere bringing to life a small portion of the world. Working on portraiture as a focal project her aim is to bring to light many of her subjects invoking life through their expressions. Since the age of five she has always had a fascination for art, and hopes to enhance her skills by working for others, whilst striving to find further inspiration.
Emrah Kaleli: Kaleli is a self taught artist creating oil on canvas pieces. With major influences from the Turkish (Ottoman) and Japanese cultures, he creates unique works of fusing elements of both cultures.
From portraits to scenes of human nature, Emrah embarks on a discovery of our hidden desires.

InSoon Felch's work encapsulates the organic associated with painting, allowing the pieces to convey an emotional message. Felch’s unorthodox style brings the elements of ‘Technological meets traditional’ in which she freely expresses her lust for technological art, without suppressing her natural passion for painting.
Felch regards the computer as a tool adopting its graphical nature to apply a modern twist whilst pushing the boundaries of traditional mediums. Through her process she…
