Fermentation is one of the current top food trends. The process is both natural and effective: "good" microorganisms, such as lactic acid bacteria, convert food in a way that new nutrients are created and the existing microorganisms become more usable - a power plant of nature.

The innovative company livQ stands for a new dimension of fermented foods: A concentrated organic essence, the Bio-Essenz, is produced from 31 organic ingredients in the Propaferm® process developed by the founder of livQ, Werner Schuegraf. "We have deliberately opted for a variety of native resources," explains Renate Ladner, who is also part of the founding team. "Among them are numerous local superfoods such as rose hips, linseed and kale." The probiotic fermentation process makes the abundance of vitamins, minerals and valuable plant substances from the organic raw materials available to the organism. But the really fascinating: The ingenious process produces further micronutrients, such as plant-based vitamin B12 - almost like in a magic cauldron. Werner Schuegraf smiles at the comparison, because he works strictly scientifically. "I'll make sure there's an optimal process environment for the fermentation cultures." And one thing in particular is crucial for quality, according to the experienced developer: "The fermentation process is not - as is so often the case - stopped by technical production specifications. "We wait until the work of the precious microorganisms is fully completed - only then we start bottling."

At BioFach 2018, livQ will be presenting the further improved Bio-Essenz: The entire production process, including bottling, can now be carried out consistently without heating - it is clear that the valuable micronutrients are best preserved in their vital, holistic quality.

The livQ organic essences therefore have raw food quality. They are free of gluten, lactose and any additives. There is a pure version and also one enriched with the superfood Camu-Camu.

At the livQ stand, trade visitors can not only get to know the Bio-Essenz of livQ, but also learn about the Bio-Primärhefe. This liquid organic beer yeast is also a fermented product that shows a high content of natural B vitamins.

Whether vegans, raw food lovers or "normal" flexitarians: the livQ essences optimize the daily nutritional intake holistically. They are not a "magic potion", but a vital food for everyone who wants to cope with everyday life full of momentum and vitality.
