ESCHA Group reports record figures for 2017
Halver, 17 January 2018 – The ESCHA Group completed the financial year 2017 generating record figures. With a consolidated turnover of 68.5 million Euros, the German connectivity specialist reported a growth of 34 percent over 2016. ESCHA also reported a new record of order entry and number of employees. The family-controlled company currently has about 900 employees worldwide. That is 17 percent more than the previous year. 150 new jobs were added group-wide nine of which were trainees.“In 2017, we achieved new records of turnover, order entry, and number of employees for the fourth time consecutively. The growth is based on an increased demand in all relevant markets and cannot be attributed to a single region”, said Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Marco Heck, Managing Director of the ESCHA Group and specifies: “In particular, we were able to generate high growth rates in the fields of Renewable Energies, Bus- and Rail Industry as well as Automation Solutions for mobile machines. Industrial-Ethernet products were another driver enabling our customers to lay the foundations for their Industrie-4.0-applications.“
According to ESCHA, a package of sales- and location related strategic measures has facilitated the steady growth rates of the last few years. This includes the beginning of direct sales in Poland in March 2017 as well as the start-up of the new production- and logistics center at company headquarters in Germany and doubling the capacity at the China plant. In order to be all set for more growth, plans for extending the factory in Germany are currently being initiated. These plans should be realized in 2019. ESCHA expects a sales growth of a high one-digit percent range for 2018.
