Distribution agreement between Mobilscan, Lisboa and TSC Barcode printer

MobilScan has signed a distribution agreement with TSC, the printer division of Taiwan Semiconductor Co. Ltd. TSC has been manufacturing barcode-printers since 1991 and has a range of barcode-labelprinters that are claimed to be fast, aconomical, easy to use and built to high standards. The range include high-end industrial printer and compact, economical desktop printers.

TSC products are unique because they are extremely economically priced and manufactured to an extremely high standard, wich makes them perfect for high volume printing applications and all printers have a two year warranty.

MobilScan works with a number of manufacturers from all over the world to distribute barcode and POS equipment like scanner, printer, mobile computer. MobilScan also offers software, customisation, support and training facilities.

TSC´s TTP-245 series provides a desktop-printer with a 127mm/sec. printing speed and a 300 metre standard ribbon roll capacity. Emulation of common printer languages are available and are said integrate with DPL, EPL-2 and ZPL-II. It features a serial, parallel and USB interface as well as optional ethernet connections. The printhead and platen-roller are changeable by the end-user without any tools.

The TTP-246M is a real industrial “working horse” The full-metal enclosure makes it very robust, but still it is very easy to load media and ribbon. ‘The 32-bit RISC processor with dual-image buffer is used for a very fast label-throughput. The last labe is stored in memory so that no label will be lost in case of changing ribbon or media.
