PMI Short Course

Porous Materials, Inc. (PMI) has announced its October Short Course, “Advanced Techniques for Pore Structure Characterization; Theory & Practice,” will be held during the week of October 19th, 2009. The course will run Tuesday the 20th through Thursday the 22nd, and will feature lectures, lecture notes, demonstrations, and guest speakers. Attendees will be given plenty of time for hands-on experience with the machines, and will be able to have their own samples run and meet with PMI’s engineers. The course will be held at the PMI headquarters in Ithaca, NY.

PMI will provide lunches, dinners, tours of local waterfalls, wineries, and Cornell University campus. Those interested in attending the course should visit the PMI website for more information, as well as an online registration form, schedule, pricing information, and photos, information and quotes from previous attendees of previous courses.

Dr. Krishna Gupta founded Porous Materials, Inc. in 1978 for the development and manufacturing of sophisticated and fully automated porosimeters for characterization of pore volume of porous materials.
