The Dawn YA Book Series
The Dawn is the story of a seven year old girl, Hannah, and the people that fight to protect her while unraveling her secret. The Dawn will be available where all books are sold on November 16, 2017.
The Dawn begins with a mysterious little girl found alone on a street in a ravaged Manhattan, the beings that are approaching her, and the superhuman woman that saves her. It's an action packed story of faith, hope and courage within the realms of a dystopian society. At it's heart is the true meaning of love and sacrifice, and the realization that we are not alone in our battles.
"I have been working on The Dawn for quite some time. I'm so excited to share it with readers in November," says Auri Blest. "It's my first attempt at writing in the dystopian/urban fantasy genres that I'm drawn to, and also in making it faith-based."
In December of 2017 Auri will release the second book of the series, The Day of Awakening, which will be followed by The People of the Prophecy and The Cell. She also has two thrillers in the works, Sleeper and Northwood.
Auri Blest's debut novel is the first book of The Dawn series and is due to be released on her birthday, November 16, 2017. She writes in the dystopian and urban fantasy genres with a faith-based twist for young adult readers. Auri is as adventurous as the characters that she writes about. She has a background in microbiology and biochemistry, fitness and nutrition, and physical therapy. She is an entrepreneur and also plays bass guitar. Auri grew up in New York and now lives in Florida.
