In the transportation solutions for example, we can know one thing from them- safety is always the major concern. Getting smarter is for the optimized and efficient safety. Among the technologies, the communication among on-vehicle devices become a must for integrating information to take control on the safety that we all feel concern for.

In terms of the communication among on-vehicle devices, reliable and smooth communication is the key to safety. Once a networking device breaks down, data therefore cannot be transmitted in real time. At the moment, Antaira’s E-Mark (E13) certified Industrial PoE+ Ethernet Switch, LNP-0800G-24-E series, supports gigabit Ethernet connectivity, easy-to-use power supply function and most importantly, proven reliability on-vehicle applications.

Antaira’s LNP-0800G-24-E series is equipped with 8*10/100/1000Tx IEEE802.3af/at compliant Ethernet ports. Each Ethernet port can supply up to 30 watts power while supporting 12-36VDC input voltage via power booster technique. With the combination of data transmission and powering function, the unit is able to minimize the inconvenience of low-voltage input and help reduce the extra cabling and labor cost. In addition, the LNP-0800G-24-E series is certified with E-Mark (E-13) which means it is recognized to provide reliable operation with road safety and it is accepted by the market and allowed to be sold in the EU market.

Specifically designed for rugged and harsh environmental deployments, Antaira’s LNP-0800G-24-E series is housed in a hardened IP30 rated metal enclosure that includes DIN-rail and wall mounting hardware. There are two wide operating temperature models for either a standard temperature range (STD: -10°C to 60°C) or an extended temperature range (EOT: -40°C to 70°C). The LNP-0800G-24-E series also provides high EFT and ESD protection for any industrial networking application within factory automation, ITS (especially on-vehicle applications), solar, security or any other outdoor environment.
