In 2008, INTEC Engineering GmbH has had a positive development and was able to continue and expand our business.
In face of the difficult environment due to the international financial crises at the end of 2008, INTEC has win several important orders in the timber industry.

KRONOSPAN

has ordered for their new OSB factory in Brasov, Romania, from Dieffenbacher Eppingen together with a press, an INTEC thermal-oil-heater.

An innovative design at the construction of the heater, the air preheater for a high efficiency and a stack, combined as a vertical unit with 3 stages, has been proved through many experience in other factories at the Kronospan Group.

As advantage, the compact construction by minimal base area, an excellent access near the ground for any maintenance at the burner, the integrated weather protection for the burner, also as the low costs for investment compared to a standard vertical or horizontal heater should be point out.

Furthermore Kronospan has ordered by INTEC for their location in Brasov, a biomass fired Energy System for the thermal oil site, which is identical in construction as the INTEC System, commissioned 2006 for KRONOSPAN CZ in Jihlava.


In the course of modernize at KRONOSPAN in Bischweier/Germany, the commissioning of a INTEC biomass fired thermal oil heater with a capacity of 12 MW has starts and works now as waste heat system parallel to the existing natural gas fired system, which is also operating 2007 by INTEC.
