Auditions.ng Launches Nollywood’s First Job Listing Mobile App
According to Co-Founder, Auditions.ng, Soyem Osakwe, the Android mobile app will help the over 15,000 talents in its social and website communities easily access auditions listed by top casting directors in the industry thereby ensuring that jobs in the entertainment industry become more accessible to beginner to mid-level actors.
According to Osakwe, “We noticed that more talents access Auditions.ng through their mobile devices, and we responded swiftly to this need by creating a mobile app that offers an enhanced user experience and simplifies access to auditions”.
She said that, on the platform, talents can register a star-studded profile, upload video monologues so casting directors can view their acting online, as well as raise the visibility of talents to casting directors searching for talents who match their skills and description.
Positioning itself as a brand for ambitious actors seeking to find more entertainment jobs especially in the Nigerian entertainment industry, Auditions.ng lists actors, models, singers, event ushers, and more on its website - www.auditions.ng. Auditions.ng was recently selected as one of 20 brands to participate in the 2017 She Leads Africa (SLA) Oxfam Accelerator Programme.
“We want to be the go-to brand for Nollywood industry information at some point. We want to demystify Nollywood and ensure the million-dollar industry creates more jobs for the Nigerian youth” Osakwe said.
