"IT Security made in Germany" with the biggest joint booth at the RSA Conference in San Francisco

Berlin/San Francisco, 22. April 2009.- The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology supports the engagement of German companies at the internationally most important IT Security exhibition, the RSA Conference in San Francisco. Under the umbrella of the non-profit organization TeleTrusT Deutschland e.V. and with the support of the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) 20 solution providers display their exhibits and contribute their know-how to workshops, presentations and discussions.

"The presence of German companies at the RSA Conference has been continuously growing for the past years" emphasizes State Secretary Jochen Homann. "The Ministry supports this positive development which reflects the worldwide important role of the German IT Security branch. Particularly in the area of high-quality IT Security German products and competences are technologically leading." For the upcoming years the Ministry expects an increasing engagement of German manufacturers on the international IT Security parquet.

About TeleTrusT Germany

The purpose of the non-profit organization TeleTrusT Deutschland e.V. is to create trustworthy and reliable conditions for the application of information- and communication technologies. Since its foundation in 1989 the association developed into a widely known and respected competence network for applied IT-Security in Germany and Europe.
