Caliber Care+Transport partners with American Cancer Society to offer 6,000 free rides to cancer treatments.Caliber Care+Transport, a provider of Non - Emergency Medical Transportation, has partnered with American Cancer Society to offer 6,000 free rides to cancer treatments.
Founded in 2010, Franklin, Tennessee based Caliber Care+Transport has grown to be the nation’s largest Non-Emergency Medical Transportation provider, completing thousands of trips annually. Caliber provides ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher services.
Starting in 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee, Caliber began donating trips to and from cancer and oncology appointments and treatments. The program has expanded to 25 markets and amounts to over 6,000 annual trips, an amount equal to $225,000.
To sign up, patients should call the American Cancer Society at 800-227-2345 or visit caliber.care.
