Is OpenStack difficult?

10-04-2017 06:14 PM CET | IT, New Media & Software

Press release from: Sardina Systems

We recently presented at a number of important OpenStack Days events within Europe, and we have heard multiple times the message that OpenStack is difficult.

Is this true? How difficult can be the fastest growing and most popular Open Source cloud platform?
We have done a quick online research as well, and the result appears to be the same: fantastic cloud technology, but taught to deploy and manage. What is the purpose of advanced technology if it is too complex for either the operator or consumer that they can’t have the system working easily, reliably and automated?

When you plan to adopt OpenStack, the Open-source infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), these are the business objectives to be achieved: improved resource efficiency, saving computing costs, and ensured highly availability and scalability.

Simplification in the complexity of OpenStack?

The truth is that if you use the right tools, OpenStack adoption can be without any doubt simplified in two directions: architecture and implementation.
While the architecture phase, planning and designing an OpenStack cloud has been largely documented and advised on the OpenStack foundation’s website, the implementation phase has still remained a complex process due to the number and variety of components of the setup and configuration, while requiring cloud specific skills and experience in the field.

However, there is a solution to address the deployment challenges faced by the OpenStack cloud computing software, and that solution we believe it is called: automation.

Simplify and speed up the OpenStack deployment phase through innovation!

The automation cloud process it is designed to minimize the operational cost of running your cloud, set up a configuration management system and get a fully operational OpenStack within 1 cup of coffee. Impressive, no?

We confirm that OpenStack platform is a powerful, scalable and flexible tool to take your private cloud business to the next level.
Addressing the implementation phase with the right tools, can provide you a fast, flexible and lightweight deployment of OpenStack.

Sustainable circle of renewable energy
This time we will talk about one of the essential topics - Sustainable energy. Hyperproduction that we have nowadays require vast amounts of energy. Based on the theory of conservation of energy, energy can only be transformed from one form to another. Energy cannot be lost. Coal, oil, natural gas, as fossil fuels, are the primary energy sources. According to the Environmental and Energy Institute, fossil fuels supply about 80% of
