The Mighter Share Unit (commonly referred to as “Contention”) offers banks an easy way to reduce monthly licensing fees by having two traders share a single trading PC.

The unit, which allows two traders to share one workstation through their individual mouse, keyboard, and monitor, also has an activity indicator that prevents each user from typing on the shared PC at the same time.
While this unit could be applied to any standard desktop PC, the real value is when combined with expensive trading platforms such as Reuters or EBS.

As with most Mighter products the Mighter MLNM Share Unit uses the Keyboard port of the connected computer to power the unit lowering energy costs, eliminating a point of failure, and freeing up those much needed outlets.
