NUAX World Premiere: Retrofuturistic concept guitars launched at Frankfurt MusikMesse

Streamlined models, a mix between Detroit car design from the 1950s and the Jetsons imagery of the 60s, but with 21 century technology and traditional artistry the guitars created by Leonardo Lospennato speak directly to those looking to play something utterly exclusively designed.

Models such as the "Radio Star", "Sauron" and "Battlestar" all share also a solid environmental policy: all wood is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council as originated in sustainable forests.

Italian design is well known, but in these guitars some technical details go far beyond, matching the "made in Germany" standard of high level technology. The bodies are made of FSC Mahogany, with a sliding back, for easy access. Other details include several safety features to avoid electric discharges, an RDIS chip to protect against theft.

NUAX Guitars are premiered at the Frankfurt Musikmesse between 01. and 04. April 2009 by the designer and maker Leonardo Lospennato. The stand is to be found at Hall 4.2 Stand D.65.

NUAX Guitars and Basses was founded by guitar designer and maker Leonardo Lospennato. Born in Argentina to Italian parents, he lives and works in Berlin, Germany where he designs and hand makes custom guitars.
