IACO Media announced the re-launch of Midwest pop entertainer Matthew Clay's website, as of 9:00 AM Tuesday, December 16th. The website remains at the same address (www.matthewclay.com) but has acquired a completely new look and several new features to accompany the release of Matthew Clay's latest album and comic book duet entitled "Epic Twist".
"Our client wanted us to make his website fit with the 'comic book theme' used for his new album and comic book. You actually feel like you are in the Epic Twist comic book when you visit MatthewClay.com," explains co-founder of IACO Media and developer, Chris Ball. "Everything on the site is 2-D and very colorful to match the Epic Twist theme. We have added games and social media features to the website so that visitors and fans will have great fun."
Composer Matthew Clay wanted to make sure that his fans could share as part of a community. To that end, various features were added to keep the visitors engaged. The biggest addition to the website is the ability for registered users to earn points by interacting with Matthew Clay and other site visitors. Earned points can be traded for Matthew Clay merchandise, such as the new CD and comic book, Epic Twist. Users can earn points by using the new features such as: playing games, posting on the forums, adding comments, watching videos posted on MCTV (the Matthew Clay YouTube channel), or reading stories, blogs, and the comic strip series, called Pillowland.
In addition to these social media and networking features, an improved online store with all of Matthew's merchandise is now available. A key feature of the new webstore is the ability to purchase digital downloads of all of Matthew Clay's releases. Finally, a dashboard with external links relating to Matthew Clay and a page full of "rants" expressing Matt's character were developed.
