Marketing software specialist based in Karlsruhe wins with business concepts and business development

Karlsruhe, November 25, 2008. BrandMaker, a Karlsruhe-based specialist in software for marketing process optimization (www.brandmaker.com) was given the first prize in the “high potential” category at the “CyberChampion 2008” award ceremony. The award was presented to BrandMaker on November 21 at the “Net Economy” conference in Karlsruhe, under the patronage of Ernst Pfister, the Commerce Minister of the state of Baden-Württemberg.

Each year, the CyberForum high-tech company network, co-sponsor of the conference, honors up-and-coming high-tech firms of the Karlsruhe high-tech sector with the “CyberChampion” designation, based on their high degree of innovation, their market potential, and the high quality of their management. The jury, composed of high-tech entrepreneurs and representatives from business, politics, and finance as well as CyberForum members, justified giving the award to BrandMaker based on its outstanding business concept and continual business development. The jury also singled out Mirko Holzer, BrandMaker’s CEO, as a noteworthy entrepreneur.
