ThoughtWorks Technologies launch - TABS - ThoughtWorks Agile Business Series
Bangalore, 12 December, 2008: Agile pioneers and global IT consultancy, ThoughtWorks Technologies, today announced the launch of TABS – ThoughtWorks Agile Business Series. The inaugural panel discussion will be held on 16th December evening at the Royal Orchid Hotel, Bangalore.The quarterly by invite only series will feature eminent speakers, influencers and thought-leaders from the IT industry. This will also serve as a platform for business & IT leaders to connect and discuss innovations in technology, software development processes, delivery and engagement models, and other IT business related best practices.
“We are pleased to announce the launch of this quarterly business series which will be a forum for IT business leaders and decision makers to connect, exchange views and best practices.” said Dharmarajan Sitaraman, Managing Director, ThoughtWorks India.
“The recent economic downturn has magnified already existing pressures on IT leaders. We hope this discussion will provide an opportunity for leaders to share experiences and take away key insights to address these challenges” he added.
The panel discussion – “Lean For Lean Times: Delivering More With Less” will have an expert panel discuss how Lean can help us through these turbulent times. Renowned speakers from IT Products, Delivery and Consulting organizations will speak on how to use Toyota’s Lean principles* to deliver high-quality software and boost profitability.
