(Brooklyn, NY)... PechaKucha Night brings prominent and emerging creative minds together for an evening of lightning-fast presentations, networking, and fun. The PechaKucha format, where a dozen or so presenters are given 20 slides each shown for 20 seconds each to reveal their passions, work and inspirations, is held in almost 800 cities worldwide. The inaugural PechaKucha Night Brooklyn, held back in August, was a resounding success.

Volume 2 is themed “Doing Better”, or instruction, lessons learned and instances of failure. Alphabetically, the night will feature 6 minutes and 40 seconds of Executive Director of Cool Culture Candice Anderson, Director of Innovate NYC Schools Preeti Birla, the cofounder of ScriptEd Mauyra Couvares, tech art teacher Benjamin Cramer, Roberta’s pizza guru Anthony Falco, urban farming expert Shaw Lash, yoga instructor and blogger Susanna Harwood Rubin, motion artist Jonathan Schipper, and musician Jesse Paris Smith. More presenters will be incrementally announced prior to the event. The official poster of Volume 2 was designed by Libby VanderPloeg.

PechaKucha Night Brooklyn's Volume 2 is one night only: Thursday, October 16. Now a staple on the global design, activist and tech scene, PechaKucha Night has made its home at Galapagos Art Space on 16 Main Street, nestled between The Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges in DUMBO's Tech Triangle.
