LSoft Technologies, one of the world's leading developers of disc utilities, has just launched a new edition of its popular ISO manager, Active@ ISO Manager. The program presents a straightforward solution for anyone seeking to greatly extend upon the limited functionality of Windows' native support for the industry-standard ISO format.Active@ ISO Manager allows you to create, edit and burn ISO images to the ISO 9660 / Joliet standard. You can create ISO images either from an existing optical disc or from any selection of files and folders on your computer. Extracting or burning ISO images supports all the mainstream optical disc formats, including the latest HD DVD and Blu-ray standards.
If you're looking for a way to easily back up and archive your existing CD, DVD or Blu-ray collection, Active@ ISO Manager provides the tools you need to do so quickly and easily. Thanks to support for the command line interface, users may also automate some of the more repetitive processes involved when working with large numbers of discs or ISO images.
Version 6.0.3 sports various improvements, including many minor tweaks and bug fixes. It also provides new security keys and a simplified registration process. Registered users will also be able to use the new update module to ensure their software is always kept current. The latest edition also upgrades to the Qt 5.6 application framework, compiled with Visual Studio 2015.
