INDESEC EXPO 2008 enters successful second day

7th NOVEMBER 2008, NEW DELHI: Indesec Expo 2008, the annual Indo-international homeland security and defence exhibition organised by Informa India and inaugurated yesterday by Shri Prakash Jaiswal, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India, continued to attract senior defence and homeland security officials on its second day.

Renowned network-centric warfare (NCW) pioneer, John Garstka, left a packed conference room spellbound with his invaluable insights on the conversion of NCW theory and doctrine into reality (via live satellite link from the United States) at the opening session of today’s NECE Conference.
Saturday 8th November – the third and final day of the exhibition - will host the Maritime Security and Border Security conferences, chaired by former Chiefs of the Indian Army and Indian Navy respectively. APVN Sarma, Secretary of Shipping, Government of India, and Mr Ajai Raj Sharma, Former Director General, BSF, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India will be principal guests at the conferences and exhibition on Saturday.
According to Brigadier Nagra, a participant at the NECE Conference, “the event was well conducted, very informative, and will undoubtedly return even bigger and better next year”.
A prominent international exhibitor added that ‘the show was very well organised, and we are glad that by participating in Indesec, we were able to network with the right target audience’.
Commander A.J.B. Singh, previous organiser of numerous successful DefExpo and Aero India shows, and the Director of Operations, Indesec Expo, commented ‘the first two days of the show were very focussed and promising’.
Prospective visitors to the show on its last day can register onsite but must provide valid photo identification, at the request of the show organisers.
