Exploring the Future at the 3rd edition of Mind the Step in Milan

Milan, June 7, 2017: ELSE Corp’s co-founder, CEO & CTO, Andrey Golub, was the opening speaker at Mind The Step 2017, a B2B event that enquired into the evolution of the buying process in Multi-Channel Retail, on the 7th June in Milan. His talk explored the new proposed business models for on-demand manufacturing and the role of AI in the future of fashion, the possible implications for designers and more importantly, the benefits it brings them.

He spoke about ELSE Corp’s Virtual Retail, a concept already recognized by the industry, which embraces the ideas of Mass Customization, On Demand Manufacturing and Industrial Made to Measure; and described to the audience the impact that it is having on the fashion retail landscape. He also spoke about the bright future of Mass Customization thanks to the use of Artificial Intelligence - in particular, about ELSE Corp’s MyStyle & MySize products, which are part of the startup’s brand new idea: the Real Time Fashion System (#RTFS), which is currently under development by the startup and its business partners.
The RTFS, is a revolutionary vision for a new industrial Product Design process for companies and independent designers. The day continued with noted speakers diving into the open issues of the Experience Economy, which ELSE Corp is very much a part of, and discussing the transition from the ‘old’ ideas and formats of e-commerce to the new Brand Commerce - or in the case of ELSE Corp, Virtual Commerce.
