Dr. Jas Walia Receives Outstanding Achievement Award
SEATTLE, WA – 31 May, 2017 – Dr. Jas Walia, the head of Seattle Chiropractic Spine and Injury Center, has been selected by the Whiplash Resource Network as a recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award for his exemplary treatment and management of the effects of auto accident injury.Dr. Walia has been a practicing chiropractor in the Seattle area since 2002. He attended the University of British Columbia and earned his degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR. He has received advanced certifications through the Spinal Institute of San Diego in numerous areas, including low force chiropractic treatment with the Activator method, biomechanics, and car accident treatment. He is also credentialed in MRI interpretation. His extensive knowledge, experience, and training have made him a resource for area medical doctors and physiatrist.
He also served as an adjunct faculty member in the Physical Medicine Department at Bastyr University for eight years. He incorporates his knowledge of advanced diagnostic testing in his treatment of patients to bring them exceptional chiropractic care. In the words of one of his patients: “Before I came here, I could not even move my neck. In the first session, I was feeling 60% better. I can’t even explain how I feel to you right now. I don’t have back pain anymore.”
The Whiplash Resource Network is a website that provides education and information to help victims of whiplash. The site presents an ongoing menu of helpful articles on topics such as action steps after a car accident and how whiplash specifically affects your body. They also provide contact information for recommended chiropractors, organized by state.
Often, victims of whiplash feel confused and frustrated as they try to work with their car insurers, auto repair shops, and try to find the right chiropractor to help manage their pain. The Whiplash Resource Network aims to make these tasks more manageable. According to its founders: “It is our hope that this site serves the public, lost and frustrated patients and even help newer, inexperienced chiropractors leap ahead with knowledge normally attained after a decade or more of practice.”
