WideTEK 25 – Award Winning Technology in a Compact, Affordable Package

Compact flatbed professional imaging solution: WideTEK 25 scans the largest format in brilliant color in only 3 seconds at 300dpi.
Since its introduction at CeBIT 2008 in Hannover, Germany; the very high demand for the WideTEK 25 has proven the need for a fast, high resolution flatbed scanner for formats up to 25 x 17.3 inches in numerous markets and applications. Its compact size and integrated walk-up scanning software make it the ideal solution for reprographics, copy services, press clipping services as well as in universities, libraries, architectural, engineering and construction offices.
The WideTEK 25, a fully re-engineered successor to the company's earlier WideTEK A2 model, features true optical resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi and scans the largest format in brilliant color in only 3 seconds at 300dpi. The dust-protected optical components and mechanics together with the exceptionally high scanning speeds and 50,000 hour lifetime of the illumination system make the WideTEK 25 essentially maintenance free, while ensuring high production throughput and therefore a fast return on investment.
Not only is the WideTEK 25 easy to operate in a network environment via the Scan2Net® web-based interface using any standard web browser, but it can also serve as a standalone solution. Using the touch screen and integrated walk-up scanning software, users simply walk up to the device and scan -- to a USB stick, network drive, FTP server or an eMail address. Using the monitor directly attached to the scanner the operator can change and control the scan parameters such as brightness, sharpness or contrast, without having to rescan. No complicated software to learn... just walk up and scan.
Password protected job management enables operators to create and store up to 30 job templates containing user-specific scanning and output preferences.
Although functionally identical to its larger product family members; the WideTEK 36, 42 and 48; the WideTEK 25 is aggressively priced at €7999.
Image Access is a leading manufacturer of scanning technologies for professional applications. With several award-winning developments to call its own, the company has become an established technological leader in the market and has grown to more than 60 employees; primarily located in Wuppertal, the company‘s headquarters.
