Antonello Bove named International Correspondent for PMForum

Antonello Bove joins global correspondents network to provide project management news from Rome, Latin America and Washington, DC

Dallas, Texas — PMForum, Inc announced today that Mr. Antonello Bove has been named an International Correspondent for PMForum and PM World Today. PMForum’s global network of international correspondents delivers project management-related news and information from around the world and provides local representation. PMForum operates www.pmforum.org, the world’s first website devoted to professional project management, and produces the popular monthly online global project management e-Journal PM World Today.

According to PMForum Managing Editor David Pells, “Antonello Bove is an experienced executive advisor in several unusual settings. He is currently leading an initiative to promote business ties between European organizations and businesses in Latin America, primarily those with projects related to increasing exports and economic development. Since he also spends much of his time in Rome, he can represent PMForum during his travels in Italy, Latin America and elsewhere. He is a dynamic professional and we are fortunate to attract his involvement”

Based in Washington, DC, Antonello Bove is a Consultant for the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), the private investment arm of the Inter-American Development Bank. At IIC, Antonello is the leader of the Italian Development Program, a program designed to strengthen European ties with Latin America and the Caribbean; He spends his time between Italy, Latin America and the USA. The program is creating a network of enterprises and organizations that are involved in import, export, and FDI with the focus on providing finance for medium and long term investments. The program also helps develop strategic alliances with European organization such as Chambers of Commerce, Industrial Associations, International Organizations and Financial Institutions.

Antonello was previously CEO of Robur Corporation in Indiana, USA, a manufacturer and marketer of gas absorption air-conditioning technology for residential, commercial and industrial markets. At Robur he was CEO & General Manger (1997 – 2002), Executive VP & General Manager (1996 – 1997), Board Member & VP Financial Restructuring (1995). From 1990 to 1995, he was a Partner at Proginvest s.r.l. in Rome, Italy, an advisory firm providing financial planning services to the healthcare and manufacturing industries. During 1988 – 1990, he was a Business development & government affairs manager at Iniziativa S.p.A, (Milan-Rome, Italy) today Ernst & Young

Since 2005, Antonello has been a visiting professor at ABITA - Project Management University of Florence, Italy. He was previously an adjunct professor of International Business and Project Management in the School of Business Administration, University of Evansville in Indiana. Antonello is the author of the recently published project management book, La metodologia dei 12 Step, published in Italy by Hoepli in 2008. Antonello has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (1987) and is a graduate of the Executive Program on General Management from the University of Michigan (2002). He is a graduate of executive education programs at Harvard University Law School; the J.F. Kennedy School of Government; Indiana and Purdue Universities; Georgetown University; and several others related to quality, management, manufacturing and project management. A member of the “Italian Association of Journalists” since 1987, he is also a current member of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and the American Management Association (AMA).
