BEAT BRASSERIE CREATES OUTDOOR COCKTAIL, PUNCH & SANGRIA GARDEN

On Sunday, May 7th, 2017 Beat Brasserie, recently named one of the top “100 Hottest Restaurants in America” by OpenTable.com, is celebrating Harvard Square’s 34th Mayfair Street Celebration by transforming the outdoor space into a spring cocktail, punch and sangria garden from 10:00AM to 5:00PM where guests can kick off the season with spring-inspired cocktails and street food. Inside, Beat Brasserie will be open all day serving a special Mayfair brunch complete with live music, food specials, artisanal wine, refreshing cocktails all in a communal setting. It’s the place for mature adults and families to hang out during the Mayfair!

Guests can take a break from Harvard Square’s outdoor festivities and head indoors to Beat for a world music brunch set. All day Beat’s Executive Chef James Lyons will be serving up a special Mayfair brunch with favorites that include Lamb Moussaka with baked eggs, eggplant, cannellini beans, kale and saffron aioli ($17), Duck Confit Sweet Potato Hash with sunny side up duck egg and tangerine pumpkin seed pesto ($15.50), and Skirt Steak and Egg with grits, grilled broccolini, preserved lemon and green peppercorn jus ($19). Mini Mayfair-goers can dine on a special “Flower Children” menu for ages 10 and under. Beat will be serving up 36 artisanal American wines on tap from the state-of-the-art tap system. Many of these wines have been crafted exclusively for Beat by top small batch American winemakers such as J. Christopher, Halter Ranch and Onabay Vineyards.

Outdoors, partiers can imbibe with neighbors and new friends at Beat’s “Spring Cocktail, Punch & Sangria Garden” featuring Beat’s shareable Cactus Flower Punch Bowl made with Milagro tequila, ginger, lemon and agave, perfect for groups of four ($45), six ($65) and eight ($85) and a variety of spring cocktails and sangria.
