Press release from: Kane Russell Coleman & Logan PC

Houston: Dallas based law-firm Kane Russell Coleman & Logan announced recently that it was acquiring prominent Houston trial attorney Chris Pappas, and his team of experienced trial lawyers, to join the Houston office of KRCL. The acquisition has now been completed, and KRCL has opened its new offices in Houston. Two additional lawyers from the former Godwin Ronquillo Houston Office have joined KRCL--Ron Bankston and Kevin Riley--both well respected trial lawyers in Houston. The Houston office of KRCL now has 19 licensed attorneys, and one recent law school graduate who is awaiting the results of the July bar examination. KRCL's new offices are located at 1010 Lamar in the Central Business District. KRCL also has offices in 4 Houston Center until that lease expires in November. The Houston office of Godwin Ronquillo has been closed, and all but two of the 17 lawyers elected to join KRCL. The acquisition gives KRCL a significant presence in Houston, and an extremely strong litigation group. "The Pappas Group represents some of the best trial lawyers in the area and we are extremely pleased to have them join our Firm," said Michael Logan, one of the founders of KRCL and the person who headed the KRCL acquisition efforts. "When you have an opportunity to join forces with a group like this, you have to seize it," stated Logan. "We look forward to a very successful integration of the Pappas Group into KRCL."

KRCL is a full service firm formed in 1992. KRCL has 70 attorneys that provide services for a diverse group of clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and entrepreneurs. The firm practice areas include Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights, Business, Corporate, and Litigation.
