Minnesota Charter School Hosts Open House
Minnesota Transitions Charter School
Everyone is welcome to attend the Fun Fest, which will include games, prizes, fun activities for kids, fire truck rides, and free hot dogs for families with children who tour the new gym or one of the MTS school buildings. The Army is also bringing a Hummer, a troop truck and video games for children and families to enjoy. The Fun Fest allows attendees to meet and speak with faculty members, explore the offerings of a charter school, enroll in MTS and register for the 2008-2009 school year.
“The MTS Fun Fest is a great opportunity for children and families to come and check out all the different programs MTS has to offer,” said Tony Scallon, Minnesota Transitions Charter School Superintendent. “The greatest thing about our school is that we have something for everyone, and the same holds true for our Fun Fest.”
Minnesota Transitions Charter School offers a free K-12 public education with small classes, dedicated teachers, a creative hands-on approach to learning, and choices of several programs to fit each student’s needs.
The MTS family of schools includes: K-5 elementary school, 6-8 middle school, Communications Arts High School, MTS Technology High School, Leadership (JROTC) Academy, individualized independent study, P.E.A.S.E. Academy, Connections Academy, Minnesota Virtual High School, and more!
