SUMMARY: It’s school choice time. Are you ready to choose a school? Minnesota Transitions Charter School (MTS) is trying to help students and families consider all their options before deciding on a school. MTS is one of more than 20 charter schools that are participating in the Minneapolis Charter School fair on Saturday, January 10, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Millennium Hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Students and families will have the opportunity to meet with teachers and principals as they check out exciting and innovative K-12 programs, including online learning, high school academies, leadership programs, elementary schools with small class sizes, and much more! Minnesota Transitions Charter School (MTS) seeks to forge partnerships among students, businesses, communities and families to help each learner make the transition from high school to post-secondary education and a career, while meeting the responsibilities for a changing future. MTS offers multiple K-12 programs, including: Elementary and Middle schools, Arts High School, Technology High School, JROTC, Independent Study, Community Learning Program, Connections Academy, and Minnesota Virtual High School.
