IBRIX Rocks Media Industry with Spectacular Media Asia Expo’08

IBRIX hits the whole media industry by declaring to drive Media Asia Expo’08 to the international stage, with a large number of industry partners invited to participate in. Such event aims not only to generate huge revenues from media and advertising business for entrepreneurs, but also to make Thailand as Asia’s hub for the media and advertising industry, with estimated sales of at least 300 million baht made on site. In addition, the company will launch the brand new free bimonthly magazine named “Media and Sign Asia Magazine”. With a circulation of 20,000 copies to be distributed to those related, it will be loaded with useful news and information from the local and international media industries, with the hope of supporting expansion of Thailand’s media and advertising industry.

Mr. Sakkachat Sivabovorn, Managing Director of IBRIX Co., Ltd and President of Media Asia Expo’08, revealed that the company ensured that Media Asia Expo’08, staged from September 25 to 28, 2008, would receive huge response from those in the media and advertising industry, as well as generate increasing sales volume of at least 300 million baht from new media used in media and advertising business.

Mr. Sakkachat said that the company invited international entrepreneurs to participate in this highly vivid expo. Such event would not only create business opportunities in the media and advertising industry for all participants, but also create awareness on the international stage. In its attempt to drive Thailand as Asia’s hub for media and advertising business, Media Asia Expo’08 of Thailand was a continuing event that had a clearer format than that of other Southeast Asia countries. In addition, it was able to create a positive image for Thailand’s media and advertising industry.

As one of the one-stop media and advertising expositions, Media Asia Expo’08 was a significant stage that would offer all visitors great opportunities to witness new media and advertising innovations. It also would boost business opportunities for entrepreneurs and those in the media and advertising industry to integrate such innovations with their marketing activities and mass communication in order to efficiently reach their target audience. Now in its second edition, Media Asia Expo’08 would be organized under the theme “Center of Advertising Media- New Media, New Concept, New Communication and New Technology”. Event participants included those from the advertising and media industry, marketers and business proprietors.

“So far, we have received a lot of responses from over 40 media entrepreneurs including new proprietors whereas most exhibited areas have been reserved by entrepreneurs in digital and technology industries including those participating in the previous Media Asia Expo. This year’s highlight is a group of digital media that will showcase brand new media innovations on a beautifully decorated, large area.”

Mr. Sakkachat added that the whole value of Thailand’s signage industry including out-of-home media, transit & transportation media and department store media in 2007 was approximately 6,000 million baht, increased by 1 % from 2007, whereas 2008 (Jan-Apr) generated a total of 2,037 million baht, rose by 5.5% over the same period last year. However, the media and advertising industry still got the opportunity to grow whereas the company already set a plan to support this kind of business expansion. In addition, the new free bimonthly magazine dubbed “Media and Sign Asia Magazine” would be published, providing interesting news and details regarding media industry, signage business, cutting-edge designs and creative works, and up-to-date information from inside and outside Thailand. With a circulation of 20,000 copies, the first issue would be launched and distributed to all Media Asia Expo’08 participants, with free delivery to other agencies and entrepreneurs in the media and advertising industry.

Moreover, all information from such magazine would be used in the e-magazine that would be regularly updated on the website. It was intended to open opportunities for those interested to read the content free of charge. As a great benefit for all businesspersons, both local and international, in the industry, it also would further expansion of media and advertising business as a whole.
