Port St. Lucie, FL... Author, Bethany Burt, is thrilled and honored to have been asked to participate in the 8th Annual Family Reading Festival which highlights local authors. The event will take place on Saturday, April 29th from 9am to 1pm and will be held at Tradition Field, Mets Stadium. The event is very popular and draws a crowd of thousands. Burt will be signing copies of her first book, I Am Not A Princess!, which was inspired by her daughter, Eliza, who as a toddler was obsessed with all things princess. It was clear why she was so in love with the idea of being a princess; princesses and princess gear were everywhere! Bethany was afraid Eliza might never grow out of the princess stage and spend her whole life dressing up, waiting for a prince to come along and save her! Thus, I Am NOT a Princess! was born. A book with an important message I Am NOT a Princess! is a charming story that is beautifully illustrated and has a valuable underlying message, especially
