Picture Information Extractor PIE 4.2 with EXIFcare™
Picture Information Extractor
PIE is a photo browser and viewer with extensive metadata functions. The software extracts metadata from JPG and RAW formats of practically all cameras. Based on this data, PIE automates general tasks such as transferring and renaming of image files. The renaming is keyed to date and time or various photographic information, flexibly definable by the user. Vertical photos are automatically and losslessly rotated. Due to a large database of camera models PIE is able to read makernote data of most cameras.
Other products from Picmeta Systems are PrintStation, a program for creating photo albums and proof sheets, and PIE Studio, which combines the metadata features of PIE with the printing functions of PrintStation.

A free evaluation version of PIE 4.2 can be downloaded from the Picmeta Website. The software runs on Windows 95,98,ME,2000,XP and Vista. The full version costs US$ 29. Licensed users are entitled to lifetime free updates.
