MOSI offers homeschool educators open house

This year’s Homeschool Educators Open House at the Museum of Science & Industry will take place from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday, August 11. The event offers FREE self-guided tours of over 450 hands-on MOSI exhibits including Disasterville featuring Bay News 9 WeatherQuest, The Amazing You, Kids In Charge! The Children’s Science Center as well as The Saunders Planetarium. Highlights include a preview of MOSI Homeschool Education programs for the 2008-2009 school year, science demonstrations throughout the day and a 20% discount on MOSI memberships with on-site registration. Guests will also receive discount admission into Dinosaurs! The Exhibition and the IMAX® Dome Theatre. More than 2,000 people are expected to attend.
