(Munich, June 2008) WorldGuide – the international, interactive information platform – has revamped its internet presence. Online as of June 2008, the new website incorporates a fresh design, member services and numerous functions. Discerning users find well-researched articles, tips and recommendations – from high-end travel to health advice and lifestyle topics. An exclusive community and worldwide privileges await the reader at www.worldguide.eu.

Content is divided into four sections focusing on “the finer things in life”. The Places section features over 800 locations with 4,000 luxury hotels, restaurants, events, spas and shopping addresses worldwide. The remaining sections (People, Products and Pleasures) contain articles covering business etiquette, fine art, technology, buying advisors, alternative health and other topics.

When registering, users can join the new, interactive WorldGuide Community – an international network for members. In addition to discussing and commenting on WorldGuide’s content, members contribute personalised travel recommendations and participate in expert-facilitated forums, which offer insider information on various topics, fine art in particular.

With three levels of membership, WorldGuide offers paid subscribers distinct advantages through WorldGuide Privileges. International benefits include discounts, upgrades, VIP treatment and other special services – all provided from a growing group of Benefits Partners consisting of luxury hotels, private golf clubs, fine art galleries, restaurants and other businesses.

Many useful web tools, such as integrated Google Maps, a note pad and favorites lists, help WorldGuide members find, organize, save and exchange information. New functions are gradually being designed, installed and made available.

The standard registration is free and includes complete access to all articles, travel recommendations and participation in the online community. WorldGuide Privileges are only available to paid members.

The new website is the offspring of a partnership between WorldGuide and Creative Development, a Munich-based web development agency. Creative Development has supported WorldGuide in the concept, design and programming of the website re-launch.
