SGS to Attend Surface and Thin-Film Analytics Conference

03-20-2017 04:40 PM CET | Business, Economy, Finances, Banking & Insurance

Press release from: SGS

/ PR Agency: Sugarloaf Marketing
Experts from SGS Institut Fresenius will be at the Surface and Thin-Film Analytics Conference (Dresden, Germany, March 23 2017) to present an overview of the opportunities created through using cutting-edge analytical methods.

The conference is aimed at several sectors, since interfacial and surface phenomena, thin-film characteristics, and film-forming surface contaminants can affect the quality of many products.

Accordingly, the event will be of interest to semiconductor and other electronics manufacturers, as well as the automotive manufacturing, mechanical engineering, construction, medical technology, aerospace, and packaging industries. It will also attract organisations working with systems such as multilayer stacks, and those wanting to inspect the structure of a coating and the surface and material characteristics - and cleanliness - of technical components.

SGS will be there to discuss the latest cutting-edge methods being used in analytical techniques and applications across a range of specialist fields. The focus will be on Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectometry (ToF-SIMS), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and Atomic Emission Spectometry (AES).

After the presentations, attendees are invited to visit the SGS labs at Königsbrücker Landstrasse 161, Dresden for a practical overview of the company’s capabilities in this highly specialised area.

To reserve a free place at the conference presentation, delegates must book before March 15, 2017 using the contact information below.

NOTE:
All proceedings will be in German, and the conference takes place at:
Saal Riemerschmid (Haus D) in Gebäude-Ensemble Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau
Moritzburger Weg 67, 01109 Dresden.
