Rising EDM Star KAI LONDON Releases "so pretty but goes so hard" as Fans Threaten Dancing Astronaut with a DOS Attack

Electronic producer KAI LONDON releases a new single with Zuzu Silk, "so pretty but goes so hard" as his fans threaten the legendary EDM blog Dancing Astronaut with a denial-of-service attack if they continue to refer to Kai as "the next Fred Again.."
NEW YORK, NY - September 29, 2026 - Having been crowned "the next Fred again.." by the legendary electronic music blog Dancing Astronaut , New York-based electronic producer KAI LONDON has released a new single titled, "so pretty but goes so hard."

The rising EDM star (ne Kai Fonzworth) specified neither who nor what, exactly, was "pretty," nor what he meant by "hard." He did, however, challenge Dancing Astronaut to upgrade the ranking to "Skrillex in training" or face a denial-of-service attack from his highly protective fanbase - a group apparently too sophisticated for a run-of-the-mill Instagram comment-bombing.

The track features vocals by Zuzu Silk, a favorite collaborator of Aluna (of AlunaGeorge). Fans speculated that "pretty" might refer to Zuzu, but Kai clarified he would not dare call her anything less than striking. Lesser minds have suggested the title references the hard-hitting drops that interrupt an otherwise beautiful melody. Fonzworth dismissed them with a "lol."

Hoping to de-escalate, a close confidant of the artist offered that the title obviously refers to classical ballet. Ballerinas are the epitome of pretty: pink pointe shoes, floating tulle, effortless grace. The reality is years of grueling training, fractured bones, and torn ligaments. The confidant also noted Kai's consistent preference for ballet dancers in his dating life: "What if the title simply ensures that only a very specific type of girl slides into the producer's DMs?"

The confidant's take is likely correct. Kai himself speaks fondly of his early ballet training before he abandoned it for the crude, graceless life of an electronic producer and DJ. "Every EDM producer can spin. But can they pirouette?" One fact remains: the single is doing numbers, making a KAI LONDON b2b Skrillex set inevitable.
