Heidelberg, Germany June 6, 2008 -- The American German Business Club (AGBC) Heidelberg Chapter will hold its next business Luncheon on June 17 and its annual Mid-Summer Night’s Dream River Cruise on June 27 aboard the Georg Fischer boat. The AGBC is a dynamic, volunteer-led organization with 700 members throughout Germany.

The AGBC Heidelberg Chapter holds a Luncheon meeting every third Tuesday of the month with outstanding speakers, networking, and superb cuisine at the Hotel Leonardo in Heidelberg (formerly Rega Hotel). The next meeting will be on June 17, 2008 with guest speaker John Schwartz of Scherer Tours talking about operating ski/golf tours in Europe. These meetings are open to all business professionals in the region for 20 euro.

The Midsummer Night’s Dream River Cruise on June 27 offers an excellent opportunity for business professionals and their guests to network with other professionals in the Heidelberg-Rhein Neckar region. The cruise will start with a pre-departure dockside party from 18:30 to 20:00. The Georg Fischer boat departs at 20:00 and will return at 23:00. Ottmar and his rocking band will provide music and good spirits on board. The cruise is open to guests for 30 euro.
